Which battles do you fight?
I’ve just been speaking to Graeme Maher, currently CEO of Vodaphone Qatar and previously CEO of Vodaphone in New Zealand, Australia, Sweden and the Czech Republic.
I asked him what advice he might offer up to middle managers, struggling to find more Great Work in their jobs.
His answer was a bold one, and not the usual “try harder, work more, being bolder.” It was this:
