“All stress is the result of feeling as though…” (Great Work quote)
“All stress is the result of feeling as though you have no choice about something. As soon as you recognize the choices inherent in any situation, you regain a sense of being in control – and the feeling of stress will begin to disappear.”
~ Bill Cumming, Center for Access to the Power Within
I’m not exactly sure if this is true … but it certainly is a provocative and useful thought.
My own pesonal mission is “to infect a billion people with the possibilty virus” – with this equation in mind:
Stuck = no choice, no possibilities
Unstuck = new possibilities
New possibilities = choice
Choice = Freedom
Freedom = Responsibility
I want, in Peter Block‘s words, to support people to assume “the responsibility of their own freedom” and through that to help people find their Great Work.
