Seth-isms #4: Respond vs Initiate
Seth Godin’s blog the other day hit a lovely Great Work distinction:
Are you reacting, responding or initiating?
Reacting and responding: often in the purview of Bad or Good Work.
Initiating: often in the remit of Great Work.
And I love the test he proposes:
=> How many emails in your Sent box have a subject line that starts with “Re:”?
(I’m a fan of finding the simple metric that tells you lots)
