How do you say “thank you”?

Giving a gift is a fine thing.

Receiving that gift with grace is an art in and of itself, even more so when it’s something intangible like feedback, advice or support.

If someone offers you support, encouragement, wind at your back – how easy do you find it to say (nothing more, nothing less) “thank you”?

This moment of receiving something offered is delicate, sacred. To dismiss it, to shrug it off, to be self-deprecating … this lessens the gift being offered.

And what if you want to do more?

Rick Singer is running coast to coast across America to raise money for the charities that supported him through his own challenges – depression, drug and alcohol addiction.

If you’d like to encourage Rick and support these charities, you can donate here.

I suspect Rick will say thanks.
