The Friday Grab Bag: Three others’ posts to read (Apr 17)

Follow me on Twitter

Three things I found this week that you might like to read.

1. What if you don’t like GTD?

I’m a fan of David Allen and of the Getting Things Done system.  And I’m not alone – David has a Tribe in the best Seth Godin sense following him devotedly.  But what if you don’t get it?  If it’s all a bit too much?  Then this post might help. (Especially good if you’re “a creative” – whatever that might mean).

2. Key rules for powerful presentations

The folks behind the terrific book slide:ology show you how they reinvent a TED talk.  I’m particularly enthusiastic about the end of the blog – “the rules we live by”.  Required reading for anyone who uses PowerPoint.

3. All you need to know about happiness

Suzi Pomerantz always brings an interesting perspective to leadership.  Here she’s riffing off an article by Carlin Flora on happiness – and why it’s become such an obsession of late.  The list of 14 things to know about happiness is particularly good.

3.5 As an added bonus … “found quotes”

From Kevin Kelly’s excellent and wise blog.
