So THIS is how Frankenstein felt…

Do More Great Work small

Today’s the official launch day of Do More Great Work in North America. It’s been quite the ride from having the idea for this book almost three years ago in Einstein’s former summer cottage in upstate New York to where things are now.

Today seems like it will be a day spent doing radio interviews and obsessively checking Amazon.com to see how high we can go. Butt cheeks are officially clenched.

Thank you everyone for your support. I’m now understanding why they have to keep the Oscar speeches short, because otherwise everyone’s thank you list would go on and on and on and on. And on.

And if you’re still umming and aahing about picking up a copy of the book – remember you’ve got just a day left to pick up the bonus ebook “Be Courageous” when you buy your copy of Do More Great Work.

Strangely, Michael, I found your site just the other night and immediately zipped over to Amazon to see if your book was up. So this was meant to be!

But how does one get the bonus e-book?? Couldn’t find that on Amazon, but am going to buy “Do More” anyway. Solid. And your Youtubes? Invigorating. I work for the Government so can use this ;’]. All the best on a ‘great’ work — Arlene!

    Hi Michael,

We just received our two copies (one for me and one for my wife) in the mail today, and our friend has bought one as well for our inaugural meeting of the Brooklyn DMGW club. Keep up the good work.

  4. Arlene says:

Just an idea but potentially people could use meetups.com to set up DMGW clubs? And..was there a blog entry today or were you perhaps still celebrating the launch Michael?!

  5. Michael: Congratulations on the book launch! I’m sure it’s a whole bunch of emotions rolled into one… But mostly, excitement for the accomplishment!

    Hi Michael !

Just wanted to let you know that I attended your seminar “Doing More Great More” via CSTD in Montreal recently and bought your book. I have been using and passing on the great map #10 How Courageous Are You ?, for all sorts of situations at work, with very interesting results. We’ve used it to help a manager create a vision for his unit for the next 3 years and being able to face the “scariest” situation, (an “11″) to the easiest (a “0″ doing nothing different). We’ve also used it to make proposals for new ideas to submit to our boss and our internal clients. They like having the options to choose from and we like not feeling defeated like when you propose only one proposal and it’s refused. Congratualtions on this “Great Work” Book ! Can’t wait to try the other maps ! Diane, Montreal, Canada.

Diane – wow, great stories! I’m so delighted the exercises are working so powerfully for you and those around you. Really appreciate you taking the time to write and tell me so.
