Box of Crayons has been a fan of Emily Piloton and her work at Project H Design for some years now – some of our readers helped with the Hippo Roller initiative she was behind.

Her book Design Revolution lists 100 objects that help people, and the book, Emily’s work and now her TED talk speak to the importance of design making life better for people around the world.
