A feedback rypple
Feedback: it’s so easy to do in theory, and so badly done in practice.
I’m delighted to see my friends (and strategic partners of Box of Cray0ns) at Rypple get some great press in Wired and The Globe and Mail this week.
They are turning the way we manage people performance – feedback included – on its head, one of the reasons that innovative companies like Facebook and Rackspace are eagerly adopting their tools.
It’s worth taking a peek at the two articles. The Wired one points out some of the flaws of employee reviews and 360 feedback loops, while the Globe talks about the process of “eating your own dog food” (what a weird expression that is), using rapid-fire feedback to learn the best way to reinvent the process of feedback.
