Is it time for you to give an acceptance speech?
The Golden Globes were given out last night, with Ricky Gervais entertaining and insulting people in equal measure.
You know how it goes – the winner is announced, they stumble up on stage and then they do their best to thank those who need to be thanked before the music starts and they’re hustled off stage.
We don’t have to give a quick speech in front of millions – probably a good thing – but neither do we have much opportunity to thank those who’ve gotten us to where we are.
How about you take a moment now to say “thanks” to a couple of people who’ve made a difference to you?
